I have always believed in the transformative power of images and image-making. As a young filmmaker, I was drawn to depictions of memory, loss, fabrication and moments of intense collective exaltation. Growing older as a photographer, I'm drawn to the ways in which power shows up through people's faces, on our hands and through our bodies and the environments in which we live.

I launched Gryphon Photography in 2026 with the guiding ethos that collaborative art-making is truly one of the most powerful and enriching activities in the world. Gryphon Photography lets me go deeper into portraiture and alternative processes while collaborating with others to make a more just world.

I'm dedicated to expressing my clients' compelling stories and to creating powerful, thought-provoking images that speak to clients and resonate with many others besides. I find portraiture to be an incredibly powerful method for connecting with other people and animals, and I hope my work creates and enriches the empathy and solidarity that we have for one another, particularly those of us struggling the most for justice.
